I'm starting this blog because for the past three years I have had to sit back and tolerate the incompetency of the general public. Because of this I feel as though I need to inform everyone of what it is to be a complete and utter asshole to the people that you rely on and the people that put that great big smiling face on when they are serving while thinking in the back of our heads: "I hope these cheap fucks tip, when the hell is my shift over, does the girl/guy that comes in every day want to sleep with me or does she truly enjoy our cheap beer and mediocre food". Yes, maybe it is a bit self-centered to not really give a shit about you but hey, in all reality, "you" made us this way.
3 1/2 years ago I started busing tables at some lame ass chain restaurant to make ends meet while I was looking for a real job. Unfortunately that job was the beginning of my career in the hospitality industry. Before i started that god-awful job I knew people sucked as a whole, but not nearly as much as I have come to realize. After being a busser I worked my way up the ranks until I became the General Manager of a restaurant at a resort in a small PA city. By the way, fuck that place! Once I realized how greedy and corrupt that place was I quit and now I bartend and manage a small place in the city. While there is still corruption and greed floating around, there is also a tremendous amount of fun and ridiculous bullshit, oh and women! But, as they say, "you have to take the good with the bad", and the bad part is the cheap assholes, and partially retarded cocks that walk through the door and try to fuck up my fun and good day.
After this post I am going to start sharing the events that go on from the bartenders point of view, and if it makes one of you idiots realize that you suck and you change your ways, then I will feel a small sense of accomplishment, but regardless, you will never actually ruin my day. I'm still going to be a promiscuous, cocky, fun loving, easy going smart ass that will never truly grow up and will never be you. Enjoy.
